Having recently read Ben's plans for the future of MCI, I suppose this isn't the greatest time to post this, but I feel like I should post it rather than just fading into oblivion. These past four or five years, basically when ever super-gaming first opened have been amazing and you guys have honestly helped me become who I am. I know that sounds cliché, but it's the truth. I was at a pretty low point in my life and MCI was an escape for me. For a few hours each day I could forget about the world around me and enjoy what I was doing. But as the years when on I started to lose interest in MCI and focused more on building. As fate would have it, it was just about that time that Ben introduced the build team and I knew that's what I wanted to do. It was nice having a smaller community that I feel really bonded together. So thank you for all those memories and connections. It's been an amazing time I've had here and I'm going to remember it quite some time. As for my inactivity over the past year, I'm gonna throw my girlfriend of almost 8 months (as of this post) under the bus and blame her. Sorry not sorry. But she's shown me there's more to life than escaping it for a few hours each day. As for my future, I head off to university in the fall to study aerospace engineering (yes, I'm going to be a rocket scientist). So I can't imagine that I'd have much time if any at all to log on and see how everyone is doing. On top of that, my interest in minecraft has slowly diminished and as I look back now, I realize it was inevitable. While I do still enjoy building things, it just doesn't captivate me as it used to. C'est la vie, such is life. And now, as it's customary to do so in leaving threads, I'm going to say my thank yous to the members of this community who have really helped me along. Thank you to Ben and Jackson for creating an amazing server and bringing this community together. Thank you to the mods, teegah and soup and kendyy especially, for keeping this server as hacker free as possible. And thank you to the build team members, like pumpkin and nitro and poke, we made some amazing stuff. And thank you to the project mayhem community for giving me a home and a place I could escape to. If you want to keep in touch with me here's my Snapchat - amortusr (yes I know, creative isn't it). Do tell me who you are, and I may consider giving you other ways to contact me depending on how well I know you.
