Its fine half the community hates me anyway
I don't understand people who say things like this.
Firemind isn’t broken. You prove my point in that statement. Survivors are better in numbers so is infected. 20v1 firemind won’t help you that much. Well it does splash damage and I’m a little bitch so I don’t like things that are too op. Maybe just a thought don’t 1v1 someone with firemind. Infected in numbers is better then survivors with firemind just target one guy in the group. 20v20 every survivor has fire mind infected will win because firemind doesn’t do a ton of damage and cool thing just added you can adjust the fire damage through code. 20 survivors vs 5 infected all zombies every survivor has firemind and because of the cool coding update fire does half a heart every 2 seconds for 10 seconds the infected have a good chance of winning. Like you aren’t worth my time arguing so please just stop trying. But wait good sir you a bitch because you are complaining. Maybe take a second and realize the game shouldn’t be so balanced the survivors need more buffs. I’m going back to mw3 here were the infected had 1 tomahawk unless they picked one up vs a type 45 I think. Survivors barely one when they had an advantage. For those who say well this is Minecraft well go ask superett what he based the game off of spoiler it was mw3 infected he even said so.
We're well aware that MCI is based off MW3, but the game's are NOTHING ALIKE.
I didn’t even understand this response. I said that being able to deal that much splash damage that quickly for 2 prestige tokens is powerful at worst and broken at best
I like many of the changes that brings back memories from Super Gaming. 20 ranks instead of 25 is a good idea but maybe higher the cost for a prestige every time you master prestige instead of every "normal" prestige?
they are removing master prestige
Lol, yeah i forgot xD.
I would keep firemind, just have it for less time.
Medic - Doesn’t really matter-keep as is
Surge - maybe reduced strength (x1) or something else?
zPower - i don’t see any problems w/ this
I believe they are removing zPower because humans are getting a huge nerf, according to Ben. If infected can to +1 damage to the nerfed survivors, it may make this just as unbalanced as MCI 2.0. I do agree with keeping a nerfed surge and revamping medic.
What's the point in it if it's x1?
Wouldn't it be cool if riot shield would Negate all damage and knock back when hit from the front, and have you take normal (or more) damage if you're hit in your back. Now this sounds really overpowered, so to nerf it I think the user shouldn't be able to hurt infected, just like how tomahawk works in the current game. I also think that it should break after a certain amount of hits. This could change if you level the perk. But I was thinking about like 20-30 hits.
Feedback would be great. I might make a proper suggestion with the correct format later, thought of it just now
That sounds incredibly annoying to fight against, and useless to most people except experienced players who don't need a buff anyways. I think riot shield should just be reduced damage all around, so it can be powerful in the hands of any player, but not ridiculously overpowered in the right hands.
Edit: I do like the idea of it breaking after lots of use, but 20-30 hits would make it useless.
How would the perk be useless to unexperienced players and useful for experienced players? I suggested the idea to stop commanders / high rank players to sit on the side of a map and abuse knock back because they could give knock back without receiving any. The other mechanics felt closer to reality for me, and seem to balance the perk out. Also, the durability was just.a suggestion, maybe it could be dependent on the level you have the perk?
Someone inexperienced wouldn't find any usefulness in a shield that makes you invincible from the front, but doesn't let you attack. They wouldn't know how to switch to the shield right before getting attacked, however, someone who already is good at blocking attacks basically just received an item that makes them invincible while blocking instead of the normal reduced damage. Riot shields from other video games do work like this, but in games with gun combat, not melee. It's an interesting idea and I think it deserves a suggestion thread.
What if you put the riot shield on your back do that attacks from behind deal less damage
I have no idea, it wasn't my suggestion. How would you put it on your back?
no you don't put it on your back it is just on your back when you buy the perk and attack from behind deal less damage
Wouldn't that defeat the purpose of the perk? It sounds interesting though, maybe it could be a part of Juggernaut or a new perk called Body Armor or something along those lines?
Quick question: How did we get into perks in a levelling and prestiging thread?
Separate names with a comma.
