MCI 3.0 Wishlist

    Hi all! Saw Agent40s video title and had to come here to find out if it was true. It is!

    First off, lets start with a problem that is near and dear to my heart, woof class!
    Ben said he needs ideas, and I believe woof needs a complete rework.
    NOTE: There would only be the "wolf form" and no infected form, to be balanced and less complex

    Path #1 Wolf Charge
    Holding shift will "charge the ability", which fills your experience bar. You can unshift at any time, which launches yourself in the direction that you are looking at. Fully charging your experience bar which maximize the effectiveness of the ability. You must shift for 1 second to fully charge your ability, with a 20 second cooldown
    Full Charge = Charge 5 blocks forward and summon two attack woofs which have 1 HP and 4 damage
    Half Charge = Charge 2.5 blocks forward and summon one attack woof which have 1 HP and 4 damage

    Other charges that don't perfectly fit into full or half will launch you X% of the charge (ex: 40% charge launches you 2 blocks)
    To spawn at least 1 woof you must charge at least 50%. Impacting a survivor gives them slow I for 2s

    Path #2 (if necessary) Mark of the Wolf
    Right clicking the woof claw activates the ability, with a 15s cooldown
    NOTE: When Mark of the Wolf is active a redstone particle effect will be around the woof
    Mark of the Wolf is an ability that lasts 5 seconds, and gives you speed II and regeneration II

    Equipment: Same as is, but wolf claw goes from +4 to +4.5



    NEW SHOP AND RANKING UP!!!

    I kinda have a very radical idea, one that will set it apart from the other MCI's
    So I assume we will still have an infected and survivor shop, with the same prices.
    I think that we should have a customization option for ranking up, and remove cookies and score altogether, and replace them with 2 different currencies.

    Experience Points? How do those work?
    Unlike cookies, you can only use XP to level up your survivor. Also unlike cookies, you do not "spend" XP to level up, once you reach a threshold of a certain XP, you level up and get 40 Upgrade Points, and keep your XP
    NOTE: Upgrade points will be explained later in the thread

    The currency for ranking up, and only for ranking up will be XP. How to earn XP will be the following:
    Kill = 5XP
    Assist = 3XP
    Survivor Bonus = 10XP
    Infected Bonus = 2XP (Not very hard to do)
    Survivor Win = 75XP
    Infected Win = 30XP

    Also, you will get more XP amplifier the longer you play (will be explained later)

    The cost of the twenty new ranks will be the following:
    Rank 1 = Free
    Rank 2 = 250 XP
    Rank 3 = 700 XP
    Rank 4 = 1,200 XP
    Rank 5 = 1,800 XP
    Rank 6 = 2,500 XP
    Rank 7 = 3,700 XP
    Rank 8 = 4,750 XP
    Rank 9 = 6,000 XP
    Rank 10 = 7,750 XP
    Rank 11 = 9,500 XP
    Rank 12 = 11,000 XP
    Rank 13 = 13,000 XP
    Rank 14 = 15,500 XP
    Rank 15 = 20,000 XP
    Rank 16 = 25,000 XP
    Rank 17 = 30,000 XP
    Rank 18 = 36,500 XP
    Rank 19 = 42,500 XP
    Rank 20 = 50,000 XP
    Prestige = 60,000 XP x 1.Y Y = Amount of times you have prestiged, XP amount locks at 100,000XP

    Wait Nick! These XP requirements are ridiculous!
    Not so fast, remember that you do not lose XP upon leveling up, and you earn XP amplifiers after playing for a while. Prestiging will reset your XP

    XP AMPLIFIERS

    Like mentioned above, playing for a certain amount of time boosts the amount of XP you earn. The time and boosts are the following:

    20 Minutes playtime = 20% XP boost
    45 Minutes playtime = 40% XP boost
    90 Minutes playtime = 60% XP boost
    120 Minutes playtime = 80% XP boost
    180 Minutes playtime = 100% XP boost

    Logging off for more than 5 minutes causes you to lose your playtime streak
    Whenever the XP you receive is boosted by an amplifier, it will show this message:

    Survivor Bonus >>> +16 XP (+60% XP from 90 minutes playtime!)

    Are there any other ways to get XP amplifiers?
    Yes indeed, cookie boosters would change to XP amplifiers
    They would be called a Global XP Amplifier, which adds +100% XP boost to everyone's personal XP boosts they currently have. Another way to get more XP boosts would be XP potions. XP potions boost your XP gain by +30% for 20 minutes, which are stackable. You would get XP potions by logging in, and voting all 4 times.

    New players will receive a bonus +50% XP booster for 1 hour

    One last thing about XP Boosters, you can /tip the person who activated the Global XP Amplifier which gives you and them 5 Money (Money will be explained later)


    Ranking and Upgrade Points

    Earlier, I mentioned Upgrade points. This would be much different from MCI 2.0's ranking system. In MCI 3.0, every time you rank up, you earn 40 Upgrade Points. These points can be allocated to specific items you want in your "loadout". Points spent in one thing, say iron chestplate, can be refunded and used for something else, however you can only refund 3 things per prestige, (so people don't "save up" for an iron sword by buying apples every rank then refunding them)

    The price for items would be the following:

    1 Melon = 10 Upgrade Points
    1 Apple = 20 Upgrade Points
    1 Grenade (sticky, flash, kb, or vacuum) = 35 Upgrade Points
    Iron helm/Iron boots = 40 Upgrade Points
    Iron Legs/Iron chestplate = 100 Upgrade Points
    Iron Sword = 150 Upgrade Points
    Bow = 100 Upgrade Points
    5x Arrows = 25 Points (cannot purchase more than 25 arrows)

    What is the Money currency?
    The new money currency is simple, it will be a currency that is 100% only used for the human/infected shop
    The amount of money you gain will be the following:

    Kill/Assist = 3 Money
    Survivor bonus = 1 Money
    Infected win = 10 Money
    Survivor win = 25 Money

    The price for items will be the same as their cost currently is with cookies.

    New Perks

    In my idea, prestiging and prestige tokens would work the same

    Survivor perks:
    Lightweight - Get Speed 2 in the first 60 seconds of the game (1 Token)
    Vitamins - Get 4 absorption hearts in the first 60 seconds of the game (1 Token)
    NOTE: Although these perks are good for the price I just don't think that they deserve tiers
    Knight - Get resistance II when under 3 hearts (2 Tokens)
    Knight II - Get resistance II when under 4 hearts (1 Token)
    Knight III - Get resistance II when under 5 hearts (1 Token)
    Valiant - Have Speed I and deal +20% damage when you have full health (3 Tokens)
    Valiant II - Have Speed I and deal +20% damage when your above 8 hearts (2 Tokens)
    Escapist - Get 1 smoke grenade (clay ball) Clicking the smoke grenade makes you explode into smoke particles, making you invisible and gives you speed III for 4 seconds. You cannot attack when you are invisible, cannot be used in the last minute of the game (3 tokens) (Substitute to flash)
    Stopping Power - Your arrows deal 30% more damage and give the victim slowness I for 3 seconds (replacement for marksman) (2 Tokens)


    Infected perks:
    Rage - Killing a survivor gives you speed II for 5 seconds (1 Token)
    Rage II - Killing a survivor gives you speed II for 10 seconds (1 Token)
    Feast or Famine - Deal +1 damage to survivors that are rank 18 or above (2 Tokens)


    Other ideas worth adding

    This will just be a list of cool things that would make MCI more fun and enjoyable to play
    Power Rounds
    Infected Costumes
    Random Daily Challenges
    (Literally got 100% upvotes)

    Quality of life changes

    /mz volunteer yourself to become a motherzombie
    Can choose to become a class of your choice instead of a mother zombie
    Players can choose to turn on or off the chat filter for them personally
    Add my map xd
    saying gg after a round gives you 5 XP

    I really don't like that werewolf idea, well the second path as it is too broken in my opinion. First of all this reason is for other players who don't like small hitbox mobs and pairing it with speed makes it as annoying as a turkey with flap. Secondly regeneration and a temporary damage buff seems a bit overpowered. Your perks also seem cripplingly overpowered in the survivors favour.

    If people need rewards to be encouraged to say 'gg' then those people genuinely don't care about good sportsmanship. Leave the spotlight of good sportsmanship to the players that actually have it, rather then having 'gg' spammed by every player in chat to show off to new players how nice our community is, knowing that most of them just want rewards. We don't need to be fake, we HAVE nice players. I just think rewarding a simple 'gg' is stupid and ruins a tradition.

    Probably not anytime soon, I think it's just in the development starting stage. Or even maybe they're planning it.
