Hello PM. I just feel like building recently, and wanted input as to what people want to see in some maps. I know I have atrocious building skills, but I see this as a way to improve my building skills. Any map ideas in the comments would be nice ty! (I am thinking of a prison/Alcatraz map, tell me how you guys think about that)

I suggest if you are going to make an MCI map, don’t put the main focus on detail. Whether you are making your own map from scratch or you are recreating a map from something else, it’s best to put an emphasis on keeping the map simple and fun to play on. Look at Firing Range for example, it’s a small map, it’s not complicated to maneuver, it’s open enough so you can PvP, and it’s detail doesn’t interfere with gameplay. Problems most maps face today is they are too big (no offense) and pay a bit too much detail to the point where the environment is hard to PvP in and maneuver. Try to make the landscape more flat than rigid, and not too complicated. Don’t make any hiding spots, and maybe make some spots for tanking.

Just try to make a medium detailed map with good spots. I feel like large maps aren't as exciting for me.

Would people prefer that I add decent (but not broken) hiding & camping spots?
